For the last 18 months the iPhone’s platform for music applications was considered to be the best, but due to Google’s Android platform, Apple will come across some significant competition in the market of mobile music app.
It should be noted that the two platforms are different. The iPhone was created and produced by a single company, while Android is a smart-phone operating system that can be offered to any producer who wishes to create products around the technology. Furthermore, Android devices can become the part of the Android Market that is considered to be Google’s response to Apple’s App Store.
Music apps developed for the iPhone influenced greatly on digital music services. There are access-based services like Pandora, Spotify and Rhapsody that made free and fee-based apps for the iPhone as their default portable option.
One should admit that it is good for the users of iPhobes, but creating mobile music apps just only for the iPnones’ users will become a bit critical, especially if mobile access to digital music becomes mainstream.
Not so long ago Android had only 3.5 percent of the worldwide smart-phone market if compare with the 17 percent of the iPhone.
But still the situation will be different this year.…
